JotEasyCron not cleaning cache? 17 Jan 2015 16:03 #1184

I'm using the jotcache plugin and it works nicely, reading the user guide carefully. The auto-clean function was not enough so I installed the JotEasyCron plugin and signed up to the easycron.com website with the starter plan. I have setup the track #1 in the JotEasyCron plugin and enabled it. I put the external Cron URL in a new clean job at easycron.com, set for 1 hour interval. The logs at easycron.com shows success running the job (only for 6 seconds). However, I had 1340 cache files in the public_html/cache/page directory and it takes longer than 6 seconds to clean that many files.

So one of my my questions is if the easycron job cleaning all files in the cache folder or only the expired, or how does that work? If I need to clean all cache files, how can that be done? Can I verify that the track #1 easycron job works correctly with the plugin?
Thanks!
/Marcus
