TOPIC: Excluding custom module position in K2 item

Excluding custom module position in K2 item 18 Oct 2015 15:43 #1492

I'm using K2, with a custom item view. I want to cache the page, but exclude a contact form which is on the page.

The contact form is in a custom module position, and I'm loading the module position within the K2 item.php using the following code:

$modules = JModuleHelper::getModules('PropertyInfoFormPosition');
foreach($modules as $module)
{
echo JModuleHelper::renderModule($module);
}

The custom module position shows up in the Jotcache "Excluded Locations" component view list and is ticked for exclusion, but still gets cached. I've tried adding old-style <jot> exclusion tags to the HTML <jot PropertyInfoFormPosition s style="xhtml" > but the module still gets cached.

I see the same problem when using inside a Joomla article.

Is there any way to exclude a custom module displayed inside an article page or item?

Here is no way to exclude the custom module injected into article or K2 item. Use standard Joomla module assignment.
