TOPIC: JOTCACHE 5.2 started throwing 500 error

Hi,

Suddenly JOTCACHE 5.2 started throwing 500 error on default menu item.

The error comes up when I have Nonumber framework enabled, nonumber.nl and is like this:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function utf8_strtolower() in /home/*****/public_html/plugins/system/nnframework/helpers/text.php on line 563

I can solve this by:
- either disabeling nnframework
- or disableing jotcache

I now downloaded the previous version, JOTCACHE 5.1, and that is working fine.

Error is thrown by createAlias($string) method of JString class (deprecated in Joomla 3.4). Function utf8_strtolower() is Joomla core function using PHP function mb_strtolower() to convert string to lower case characters. If given string is not UTF8 valid string then the conversion is not possible to perform.

Simply to say - suddently occurence of this problem is caused in nnframework by wrong data (menu link title ?!) and not by JotCache.

The administrator has disabled public write access.
