TOPIC: Can I run the cache on Page Title instead

Can I run the cache on Page Title instead 18 Feb 2016 13:37 #1612

I've got JotCache enabled on my site...and I really like it to be honest...however sometimes I was finding multiple caches of each page.

Recently this problem has become more severe and I just noticed and realised why it happens.

JotCache caches based on page URL, so if I have a URL which I post to buffer and it gets added UTM parameters, this is seen as a new page and is cached differently instead of using the old cache.

I've also encountered the problem in a much serious way - using my mailing component, a parameter for each click is added to the URL of the page. So when I send out a mailing expecting lots of users, at this point the site generates a new cache for every click, which makes it useless.

Is there some way that the cache can be created on the page alias maybe rather than the full URL? Or if the additional parameters are trimmed so that the caching remains at page level?
